5 yoga poses you can do on your bed

I know that not everyone loves yoga or exercise in general as much as I do. Some may not be as excited about exercising every day, regardless of how healthy they are or not.

But what am I doing here, if not to make your work easier and to encourage you to live a healthier lifestyle?

So here I am with a workout idea for people, especially those who don't want a daily workout or who simply have a too good metabolism and can get away with eating, but still want to exercise a little.

Now especially on those cool winter mornings … many of us, including me, don't want to leave the warmth of our bed. So here I am with some asanas that can be done in bed that actually make you feel warmer as you do them, so that you can feel more active and exercise sooner. These have gentle stretching poses and some lung exercises.

This asana releases wind to the stomach and lungs. This is an excellent asana for people with breathing problems and stomach upsets.

Steps to do this:

  1. You can do this while lying flat on your back in the sleeping position with your legs straight with your palms facing down on either side.
  2. Now bend your knee towards your stomach and hold it together with your hands on your fingers. Try to hold it as close to your chest as possible and repeat 5 times for each leg. Relax and repeat with both legs at the same time.
  3. As you relax, put your hands down first and slowly bring your legs into the normal position with no support from your back or shoulders.

Spine Posture

This pose helps immensely with flexibility and relaxes your back and neck muscles that you may have contracted due to abnormal sleeping positions.
