Full Body Workout With Toning Tube

Those who are regular readers of fitnessvsweightloss, know well that I am a die hard fan of Leslie Sansone 😛 and I can’t think of weight loss without her exercises and walk at home program. I love doing five and four mile walks with her and my recent favourite is her exercises with toning tube band. So since I had decided to do some toning band and hand weight exercises too so bought this toning tube online. Now I am not going to talk about Leslie Sansone any more because if I start I can’t stop and this post instead of being about toning tube will become toning tube with Leslie Sansone. LOL 🙂

Why Toning Tube?

  • Working out with toning tube requires very little equipment and is usually affordable.
  • You’ll only need one tube to do various exercises.
  • Its portable and can be carried along wherever you travel.
  • Personally speaking there is one more reason that I like toning tube… Its vibrant colour… 😛 Mine is fluorescent green.

When I was losing weight with walks, jogs and low carb diet; I realised that my upper arms’ skin had started dangling, the moment I moved my arms up. This was one sight I hated. So decided to do use toning tube for exercising my upper arms. Toning tube come in three types.

  • Light Resistance

  • Medium Resistance

  • Heavy Resistance

Now since I have vowed never to take any professional help from any trainer or gym (no offence intended but i believe that its my battle and I must fight it on my own) so my best bet is Google. And yes, being an individual having extreme ideas about every thing in life I preferred to buy Heavy Resistance tube. 😛 These are the exercises I do following Google images.

  • Tie one end of the tube to door knob or handle.
  • Pull the other end giving a good stretch to hamstring and calf.
  • Do on both the sides ten times each.

Exercise 2  Squats

  • Stand on the tube with feet slightly wider than your shoulders. Your feet should be on the center of the band.
  • Holding a handle in each hand, bring the top of the tube over each shoulder.
  • Keep the tube secure sit straight down, chest up, abs firm, pressing your knees out over your toes.
  • Rise back up to start position and repeat for 10 reps.

These are a few exercises which I like to do with my toning tube. Though I should be doing it regularly for best results yet I can’t do these so religiously. But yes, thrice a week I ensure that I do them. Do I enjoy these exercises? Well… yes I do specifically when I am back after a long walk and feel like lying down, I love doing floor exercises lying down on the cold floor…. Aah! What an ecstasy after a sweaty back wrecking brisk walk. 🙂 You can buy Toning Tube from here..http://www.flipkart.com/
