How To Keep Fit And Sexy During Winters

How to keep fit and sexy in winter

Hey ladies

Winters are at their best, and do you know we are gaining weight during this time? There are many reasons why we put on more weight in winter than in other times of the year.

How I gained so much weight

They are –

1. It is a common belief that we need to eat more to stay warm, but is that the case? And those with more love handles feel more cold and eat more to stay warm, which leads to weight gain. And the body stores more calories in the form of white fat, while we need brown fat to burn calories and stay warm.

2. Sometimes we are more hungry in winter, this may be due to melatonin, hormones that are triggered by darkness, contribute to more sleep and appetite.

3. Another case is if you don't even eat in winter but gain weight anyway, the reason is that we need sunlight to synthesize vitamin D and we don't get enough sunlight in winter, so a lower one Vitamin D levels more stored fat in the body.

4. In winter we tend to eat fatter foods. We crave puddings, brownies, fried foods, more tea, and coffee, resulting in extra calories that are hard to burn in winter due to our less winter activity. Most of the time, we keep ourselves inside, cover ourselves with warm clothing, and reduce our activities.

The result is weight gain. But there are some strategies for staying fit and lean during the winter.

1. Intelligent enjoyment

Instead of storing food high in sugar and fat, delicious temptation. Choose low-sugar, high-nutrient foods. Avoid cookies, fried and raw almonds, hot chocolate, unsweetened coconut milk, or chocolate protein powder. Replace potatoes in your main course with green, seasonal vegetables.

2. Keep track of what you are eating

It has been proven that those who keep track of what they eat lose more than those who don't. Keep a diary with you or download an app for it. Write down everything you eat throughout the day, keeping track of the calories. Weigh yourself weekly and you will know where you cannot lose weight.

3. Increase fiber in your diet

Include 25 to 35 grams of fiber in your diet to keep hunger pangs at bay. Green vegetables, nuts, seeds, and berries are good sources of fiber, adding them to your diet will not only keep you full longer but also stabilize blood sugar and help you stay away from high sugar cravings.

4. Plan your meals

If you think the pressure of work is causing you to not have enough time to prepare your next meal, then do some prep such as cutting vegetables, pre-cooked meals and refrigerating. This early preparation will help you avoid last minute junk food orders. If you have to go to a big party, have something to eat before you go to the party, this will save you from biting into those sugary cupcakes.

5. Training

Don't skip your workout in winter, make a schedule and follow it religiously. Choose a high-intensity workout for better results in less time. Force yourself to wake up early if you don't have time to exercise all day. Don't be a lazy bum and don't wait for winter (I know it's easy to say but hard to do).

6. Before and after parties

I know there are so many parties to attend in winter. Don't skip meals before you go to the party, instead prepare protein shakes for breakfast or lunch to keep sugar levels up and your post-party meals light to make up for that.

I hope these tricks help you stay in shape in winter 🙂
