How To Prevent Belly Obesity
Hello how is your life Mine is super hectic, I need another day off to relax.
I am happy to see many new readers on IWB. Most of the questions that were asked related to belly obesity or belly or muffin top or belly fat. I had thought about it how to prevent belly obesity as this is a big problem area for almost all women.
Indian women are generally fuller in figure. The fat deposit is all over the place on areas like stomach / tummy / arms / thighs and buttocks. This post is now about the causes of abdominal obesity or how to prevent belly obesity.
I have seen that a person with abdominal obesity is generally not obese. I've been chubby since childhood but never obese. But I have abdominal obesity. I have a lot of fat on my stomach and upper arms. I'm neither top heavy nor do I have huge thighs or buttocks.
Yes, that certainly makes me sad and lowers my self-confidence as I am forced to pick up clothes that slip out of my stomach. I juggle between size M, which otherwise fits me well, but tight on the stomach, and L, which doubles my body! I shudder when trying on clothes in rehearsal rooms 🙁
Not only can belly fat lose confidence, it also makes you more prone to disease. Let's find out more about abdominal obesity,
What is Abdominal Obesity?
– Excessive fat in the abdominal area. In women, the area below the breast to the lower abdomen is considered the belly. Abdominal obesity can affect anyone, regardless of age or gender. I am sure you must have witnessed children and adolescents suffering from obesity. One of the causes of abdominal obesity at such a young age could be heredity from parents.
Causes of Abdominal Obesity
There is no solid and quick reason why some people have abdominal obesity. But genes play a big role here. Decreased insulin sensitivity, hereditary or hormonal problems, nocturnal eating, excessive junk food intake, excessive stress, stomach problems, slow metabolism are some of the reasons behind abdominal obesity.
How To Prevent Belly Obesity
Myself and Mr. Fit both agree that if you want to stay away or get rid of abdominal obesity, eating right is more than just exercise. it takes a lot of effort, consistency is the only key!
Abdominal obesity is a clear sign of high levels of insulin or stress hormones. There is no other way to be successful than improving your eating habits. Prevention is the best way to go, but that doesn't mean that abdominal obesity cannot be cured. Despite thyroid, anemia, and high testosterone, I've managed to start 2 inches in the past 2 months.
There's nothing new I'm going to reveal about getting rid of belly obesity. But we know everything, but we don't track everything!
- First things first: sleep 7-8 hours. You can't deny the importance of a good night's sleep, read here.
- Drink water like there's no tomorrow. I know this is my usual dialogue, I am considering patenting it. Water flushes all useless things out of your body.
- No late night binging (read maggi, pasta, namkeen, farsaan, candy, chocolate … yes all that stuff that you can cook in the blink of an eye or hide under your mattress). Some of the healthy snacks to have when you're hungry at midnight are here.
- Pay attention to the portion size. Eat in small plates and chew your food properly. Eat slowly and enjoy your meal.
- Throw away sugary foods, junk and soft drinks.
- Do not use artificial sweeteners. All are chemicals!
- Eat fresh fruits and vegetables.
- Eat small meals and keep grazing. Our ancestors were never fat because they didn't have the concept of 3 meals a day. Eat every 3-4 hours.
- Exercise for 30-45 minutes 5-6 times a week. Mr. Fit will soon be releasing a new Abdominal Obesity Training Plan.
- Fat do not go away! We don't get fat by eating fat. Grease in moderation!
- Keep your stress in check. Rejuvenate yourself often.
- Last but not least: get your metabolism going. Read it here and here. Add nutritional supplements to your diet that can help you burn more fat, such as antioxidants, fat burners, vitamin supplements, etc. I'll shortly be giving you an inside look at all of the nutritional supplements I use and reviewing them one by one.
