- Concentrated sugar in any form, sweeteners from food and definitely not refined sugar.
What can you have in Paleo Diet?
Grass-fed meat, seafood, fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, nuts and seeds, and oils like coconut, avocado, honey, limited maple syrup and olive oil.
What can you have on the keto diet?
The keto diet cannot ingest more than 20 to 30 grams of carbohydrates, making keto a tougher diet. Meat, cheese, low-carb vegetables, eggs, fish, nuts, oils, dairy products (butter, cream cheese, cream) and only a few low-carb fruits.

If we compare the paleo and keto diets, I think both of them are great diets for weight loss. On Paleo you can eat diet fruits while keto is strict. The Paleo diet has a strict restriction on refined oils, while keto takes this into account.
