Prime 10 Tricks to Be Current with Mindfulness

It's never been easier to get in touch with someone on the other side of the world, but it's so easy to feel separate from the people who are closest to us. We have more tools than ever to make tasks easier and get more things done quickly, but our to-do lists have never been longer. During this time in particular, we were all forced to slow down and think. Life is short and time flies by, especially in today's fast-paced world. These exercises are designed to help you slow down, enjoy life, and focus on the important things.

Take the time to prioritize the daily goals

By focusing on the most important tasks that need to be done, we avoid the stress of doing everything at once. Especially when things have been so uncertain lately, we could take a step back and evaluate everything before choosing one thing to work on. Remember, you don't have to do everything at once. Take one step at a time and you will get there. Ask for assistance whenever you need it.

CERS PERSONAL INTERNET USE IN HALF

Technology has become an important element in our lives. In the last few months it has become indispensable for work, but at the same time social networks, emails and surfing the internet hinder our ability to concentrate by throwing hundreds of ideas at us. Try to reduce your internet usage by 50% (apart from work use) and use this time to discover new hobbies, do sports or meditate.

ENJOY THE NATURE

Take a 5 to 10 minute break to go outside and breathe some fresh air. Separate yourself from the rest of the world and admire the beauty of nature. If you want to feel more grounded, go barefoot on earth to truly connect with nature.

EAT SLOWLY

Many of us are racing through meals, missing the opportunity to appreciate the textures and flavors of our food. Start chewing slowly and experience the smell, taste and texture of your food. Be really present, don't eat in front of the TV and don't read at the same time. Enjoy every sip. You will find that you are likely to eat less this way as you will become more connected to your body and find when you are full rather than eating until you have everything ready on your plate.

CONNECT WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS

We all want to hang out with close friends and family, but how often can we really listen and bond? Eliminate the distractions, avoid noisy environments (if we are not physically distancing ourselves) and connect on a deeper level.

TAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF

When was the last time you spent valuable time with yourself? If you live alone, you may have done a lot in the last few months of lockdown, but how much time have you spent alone feeding yourself. Take a night to find a new book, try yoga, meditate, take a bath, get pampered, or cook a new recipe. Giving yourself this time and doing something nice for yourself can recharge your mind, body, and spirit.

GIVE YOURSELF MORE TIME

Some of us like to stick to a tight schedule, planning all of our daily events, which can be helpful but also stressful. The next time you write down new tasks in your planner, allow a few extra minutes as you estimate how long things will take. This will help you not to rush through daily tasks. Also, try to change the way you think by saying, "I have the time I need" rather than "I don't have enough time" to see an immediate change in your feelings.

Take the scenic route

The next time you're driving or walking anywhere, take the scenic route. Driving through open fields, mountains, or looking out at the city skyline can be very relaxing. A walk through a park and a stay in nature can be a real prerequisite.

When you start your computer, sit down with your eyes closed for a moment

Just a few moments of meditation can set the tone for the rest of the day. Try to empty your mind and take a few slow, conscious, deep breaths before getting on with your chores.

Remind yourself of your goals and aspirations

Each morning when you wake up, take a moment to reflect on your life goals and aspirations. Remember the milestones you have already reached in your life and your urges to reach new ones. Try this for five minutes before you get out of bed to start your day. This will help you refocus and not stay where you are when you are having an especially challenging time. Remember, this too will pass and nothing is permanent. Yes, this moment creates your future, but there is only so much you can do now. So just take it one moment at a time. Today is a new day, anything can happen.
