Winter My Favourite Season To Work Out
Winter My favorite season to exercise
To tell the truth, it takes determination and perseverance to achieve your own fitness goals. But don't we have a personal favorite season when we can just train? That one special season of the year that illuminates us from within and makes even the last tiring mile like a walk in the park!
It can be – you hike in the light drizzle of the monsoon season or the breezy springs with their scent that fills your lungs. It can also be – you exercise while admiring the transience of autumn life or exercise in the comfort of your sweatshirts.
Personally, I like training in winter. There are many reasons this is my favorite time of year which makes this post seem like an essay too!
My main reasons for training in winter
Reason # 1:
The winters have longer nights that allow me to sleep longer in my bed. As they say, a healthy mind leads to a healthy body. (Sorry mom, winter is here!)
Reason # 2:
Winter, the only time of year you can (or must) exercise in those comfy layers (and more clothes). But that homely feeling!
Reason # 3:
That comfortable feeling makes most other people lazy enough not even to step out of their house. Your loss! I can walk on the streets of society in my privacy. Sometimes I have the feeling that the streets are my very own running route! (By the way, a lap is exactly half a kilometer, so even without a tracker I know how many laps I need to reach my destination)
Reason # 4:
They say sweat is the tears of fat. The best thing about winter is that the sweating is coming from your own body, not the time of year that is helping you. "Summer, your services, that extra sweat, are no longer necessary!"
Reason # 5:
Fine! Winter makes you cold and chill and sore. Add: “Brrr! It's freezing today! ”But you can't describe this breathless feeling after running, you can only experience it.
Reason # 6:
The winters make me lazy even to turn on the kettle and take a bath! Best solution? I use a hot shower as a reward after my workout for the day. And do I have to mention the power of a hot shower?
Reason # 7:
Who can't love watching the sunrise on foggy mornings? Believe me, it's surreal. Try it once. You will find that these are the things you should live for instead of a 9-5 job.
Reason # 8:
Drinking water is a necessity when you exercise and otherwise. Winters are a time when you cannot achieve your water intake goal, all thanks to "I'm fine," "My throat hasn't dried up," "blah blah blah". Exercising is the perfect excuse for you to reach for your water bottle after a long, sweaty run. The radiant keeps you in check.
Reason # 9:
I love taking long walks alone. And winter is the time when people neither leave their home early in the morning nor go in late at night. This creates the perfect aura for me to clear my head or think about the future while walking quickly. All greet "I" time.
Reason # 10:
Nostalgia! I was eagerly waiting for the coming winter because exactly a year ago I started thinking about my fitness goals. I would like to experience these 10 km hikes again every day, but now in a different way – with a 16 kg descent. To be honest, I want to honor my new body and newfound confidence this winter.
