7 Best Face Mists To Keep Your Skin Hydrated During Summer
If you walk pass by my desk at any point during the day, you’d probably see me using a face mist. Ever since our beauty ed introduced us to the wonders of misting, I’ve been obsessed. Is it an essential part of my skincare routine? No, but that doesn’t mean I love it any less. Feeling hot? Mist. Need a 3pm pick-me-up? Mist. A guy broke your heart? Mist… well no, but it can make things a fraction better. These little bottles of miracle water can do just about anything.
WTF are face mists?
I’ll forgive you for thinking that face mists are just fancy water but they can have amazing benefits. Some mists contain humectants — that’s science for ‘holds water’ — like hyaluronic acid, while others aim to reduce sensitivity and redness. These kinds of mists are great for adding a boost of hydration especially if you have dry skin.

But even if you don’t have dry or sensitive skin, you can still benefit from a face mist. There are ones that can mattify the skin, ones that offer a boost of vitamins or peptides — the options are endless. Oh, and did I mention that you can mist throughout the day without messing up your makeup? Yes, tried and tested.
