Fish Recipe – Fish curry for weight loss
Fish is a very healthy food. It is a rich source of omega 3 fats. It contains many essential minerals such as iron, zinc, selenium and iodine. Vitamin is also found in fish. Fish is a good source of lean protein and is low in calories.
Fish is a great source of protein for WeightWatchers. Its omega-3 fats support the weight loss process. It's common for people to give up meat to lose weight, but you don't have to compromise much when it comes to fish.
Fish Recipe – Fish curry for weight loss
Now there are many many fish recipes. I share my version of fish curry which is low carb. It's simple and requires common ingredients.
Required Ingredients for Low Carb Fish Curry:
haddock fillets
grams of flour
Red Chili Powder
onions
garlic
Vegetable Oil (use coconut if using Paleo)
curry powder
salt
Ground coriander
water
tomatoes
Ground cumin
Fresh coriander
Now get to work folks!!
Method and Preparation: Low Carb Fish Recipe:-
- Take 8 pieces of sliced haddock fillet or any fish of your choice.
- For the dough, take 1-2 oz grams of flour in a mixing bowl. Take it slow as it contains a good amount of carbohydrates
- Add red chilli powder and 1 tsp curry powder to taste.
- Season with salt and 1 teaspoon ground coriander.
- Mix everything and add water to get a smooth paste.
- Add the pieces of fish and brush nicely with the batter.
- Heat some oil in a pan and fry the fish.
- Take it out on a kitchen towel when the fish is golden on both sides.
- Peel and thinly slice the onions and garlic.
- Heat oil and fry until golden.
- Add some boiling water and cook until the onions are dark brown.
- Add chopped tomatoes, red chilli powder, coriander powder, ground cumin and salt to the onions and add more boiling water.
- Bring to a boil, cover and cook for 15 minutes. Keep stirring in between.
- – Add chopped fresh coriander and pieces of fish.
- – Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
Include fish in your diet and accelerate your weight loss. As a bonus, you also get stronger bones and teeth and glowing skin.
