Join thousands of South African runners on a virtual 10k run. Who knows, you might even win a prize!
5th September 2020
If you haven't already participated in the #NedbankRunified series, there is still time! There is no denying the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on all of our lives. For many of us, running is what kept us sane (even if it was in our own gardens during the fifth stage) and that's why the guys at Nedbank developed the #NedbankRunified series – a unique platform that South Africans can use through our to bring common love together to run.
More than 92,000 runners took part in the first two parts of the #NedbankRunified virtual running series in July (5km) and August (8km), with the former having the largest number of participants in a virtual South African race to date.
Round 3 of #NedbankRunified
The third and penultimate challenge in the #NedbankRunified series is currently running and will be shown live from September 12th to 26th, 2020 – this time runners are expected to complete a 10K run.
Runners who successfully complete each monthly challenge have the chance to win up to R50,000 in greenbacks as well as exclusive Nedbank Running Club baskets courtesy of the club's sponsors: Futurelife, Nike, Bavaria and Biogen. In addition, there are also cash prizes to be won for Nedbank Running Club members who finish in the top 10 of their respective categories.
The overall winner of the series is given the chance to compete in a major international marathon and pay for a trip for two to get there. Because we all know that behind every great runner there is a good cheerleader.
Stay up to date and follow Nedbank Sport on Twitter and Facebook.
