Hailey Bieber’s Hack For Full Brows Is Surprisingly Easy
Not ridiculed yet. Sure, a brow gel is by no means groundbreaking, but Bieber explains that it's the perfect tool for buffing that hair without looking like you have bows painted on it. "It's the only thing I do every day," she enthuses during a Zoom demo. "Even if I don't wear makeup, it's the only thing I wear."
Then comes the brow gel hack: your make-up artist Denika Bedrossian covers Bieber's brows with the serum-infused brow gel from bareMinerals in a clear form ("It's like a deep care mask for your brows," notes Bieber) before she sweeps the same confectionery in the shade "Coffee".
This is where people tend to raise an eyebrow: doesn't it make more sense to apply the clear gel according to the shade to set the hair in place? But as Bedrossian explains, painting on a clear gel prepigment thickens the strands and shakes them into place. Then the brown hue can "warm it up a bit," she says.
It's like someone applying a foundation or clear mascara before coating their lashes with ink pigment – this creates an even base for the hair so that they can look even fuller. The same goes for your brows: a clear gel can separate and thicken the fine hair, paving the way for the toned spoolie to move between gaps.
