Not only does green chilli improve taste, it also adds a lot of goodness to food as it has several health benefits. However, not everyone may like it. But once you start eating it on a regular basis, it can do wonders for your health. Some people include a whole green chilli in their daily diet. I'm only speechless when they effortlessly munch a chilli with their meal. I can't eat it like that, but I enjoy slices of it in my omelette.

Chilli cucumber
This is a quick recipe with chilli pickled in lemon juice.
You need:
- Lemon – 1
- Salt (many: P)
- Green chilli-5
method:
- Cut open the green chilli pepper and fill with a pinch of salt and cut into two parts,
- Put them in a small glass bottle and squeeze out the juice of one lemon.
- Keep it under sunlight for a day or two. Voila your chili cucumber is ready.
Shelf life – no more than 10 days.
A word of caution. Take it in moderation because eating too much green chilli pepper will harm you instead of doing something good. It doesn't suit some people. So, before taking it, make sure that you are not allergic to it. Pregnant women should definitely avoid it.
