There can be many reasons not to lose this weight even after all the effort. I am referring here to some of them from my experience and from observing people around me. Let me start with my example.
Reasons not to lose weight
1. Have you gone to the gym and still can't shed any pounds?
Have you ever been through this situation? A few years ago I used to say to my friends, "I went to a gym but I still haven't lost weight." My roommate shot me back once and said, "But how many days do you go to the gym?" Problem Solved: P. Going to the gym is no good, going to the gym and exercising!
2. Go to the gym regularly and still don't lose weight!
One of my friends said that she goes to the gym regularly but still doesn't lose weight. I knew she was in control, then what is wrong with her? I asked her what she was having for dinner. She said she doesn't like lunch in the office, so she eats a whole meal. I asked her if dinner was her biggest meal and she said "yes". Bingo!
If you eat a minimum during the day, when your body needs energy, and if you max out in a few hours of sleep, you are doing exactly the opposite of what your body needs.

3. Go to the gym, eat right, but don't lose weight!
Well, this scenario can have multiple answers. Let me give you two very common reasons.
If you are anemic, you will not lose weight at all, despite a healthy diet and exercise. Watch the people around you and you will get your answer. It is a known fact that when your hemoglobin is low, it means that your body's ability to carry oxygen to burn food becomes low.
Low hemoglobin -> less oxygen transported -> less energy released
Low hemoglobin levels destroy your stamina and make you feel tired all the time. I know this because I've struggled with anemia for so many years
If you have stomach problems related to constipation or upset stomach, you will not lose weight at all despite eating a healthy diet and exercising.
Stomach problems, constipation, and upset stomach are the problems that are directly related to our digestive system. Our digestion determines our weight. Please do not take this problem lightly.
These are the basic reasons that you may never have thought of in connection with your failure to lose weight. There are many other reasons such as the servings, proportions of nutrients in your food, etc.
