Hilltop Tiny Home In New Zealand

Since I lived and worked on boats, I was used to tight spaces. Moving to a tiny house felt huge! So I haven't found anything challenging living in this house other than getting it to its location. It took a large tractor and the generous help of neighbors, friends and family to make this possible.

The best part of living in a tiny house is knowing that we are making a dream come true. As a first-time owner, it's so rewarding to see that something I've worked so hard for comes to fruition. And after living on a yacht with over 20 other people and sharing a home, it's so nice to have a space that is only mine.

Choosing a tiny house also opens up the opportunity for you to have a beautiful location and view – something we could not have afforded if we had bought a normal house at the time.
