Homemade recipe for weight loss and muscle building

Homemade protein powder is the easiest recipe imaginable for health benefits. Today I'm going to share my simple recipe here. To prepare your personal weight loss recipe that could help you build muscle too, all you have to do is think of nuts, seeds and beans.

seed

Let's talk about seeds, which are a storehouse for health and nutrition. To find out about the health benefits of seeds, read here …… ..

I searched my pantry and found a packet of sunflower seeds that I was lightly toasting in an open wok. You can also roast these in the oven.

The next ingredient for the homemade protein powder was pumpkin seeds. If you want to know more about the health benefits, check out the link.

Flax seeds are one of the good ingredients to include in your homemade protein powder for weight loss. Read more about it here…

Chia seeds should not be missing from a protein diet. To learn more about how to add chia seeds to your daily diet, check out this blog here …

These seeds are a perfect mix for super healthy protein powder made at home.

nuts

The other ingredient added were various nuts like humble peanuts, almonds, cashews, and walnuts. To learn about the benefits of all of these nuts, you can check out our previous blogs here …, here …, here … and here. All of these nuts are readily available in the local markets.

Beans

Now let me talk about beans. The easiest way to add protein to your daily diet consists of adding a handful of whole grains Beans in any form. Here I was thinking of adding India's standard source of protein toasted black gram or bhuna chana. If you want to learn more about the health benefits of Chana, read here …

oats

I love oatmeal in every form. For this homemade protein powder for weight loss, I roasted a bowl of oatmeal to give my protein powder a good base. Soaked oats will become plump and make an interesting breakfast. It's a wonderful ingredient to use in place of milk, as oat milk is a great vegan alternative to milk.

With all the ingredients I just took a bowl and put 20 g each in a wok and roasted everything dry.

Once they're done, I let them cool and then pulverize them in a dry blender. Then all I did was mix it up well and keep it in a bottle when it was nice and cool.

It is best to get all of the macro and micronutrients in your diet through homemade meals. I think so, so my homemade protein powder recipe for losing weight and building muscle is a great way to easily get the protein you need. If you're not a vegan, you can add some dried milk powder to your homemade protein powder to make it tastier. But don't forget the added sugar content there.

So I shared my wholesome recipe for preparing homemade protein powder with you and there is a warning against taste. If you don't like a nutty taste, don't add toasted chana as this would give your protein powder a very nutty and "desi" taste that the new generation kids generally don't like.

Protein is an essential macronutrient in the human diet that helps build, tone, and strengthen muscles. It also helps in tissue repair, builds enzymes and hormones. Not only that, it also helps you lose weight.

If you're not a huge fan of DIY or homemade food, check out this blog post about different protein powders. Below I share with you different ways to consume this homemade protein powder.

  1. Add a tablespoon of it to the homemade coconut milk.
  2. Add almond milk to your glass for a great protein shake.
  3. Use it in your banana or mango smoothie instead of breakfast.

Word of warning

If you want to build muscle, then in addition to consuming protein powder, you must also do weight training. Cardio can help you lose weight, but only strength training can help muscles.

Protein powder alone cannot be an alternative to a healthy diet. No protein powder can meet your daily protein needs. The best way is to add lots of legumes, sprouts, and whole grains to your diet while keeping your daily calorie needs in mind.

Do not try to use homemade or other high protein powders as meal replacements. They cannot be anything but dietary supplements.
