Low Carb ► Recipe for Beef Tacos

But on days when you're not doing a lot of exercise, have already consumed enough carbs, or just want to try something new, this low-carb recipe is a great option.

Low carb: beef tacos wrapped in lettuce

Ingredients for two servings:

  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 350 g ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ½ teaspoon ground caraway seeds
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 tsp salsa
  • Juice of ½ lime

Manual:

  1. Dice the onion. Fry in rapeseed oil until translucent, then squeeze the garlic into the pan.
  2. Fry the ground beef in the pan and mix in the spices.
  3. Rinse off the salad. Fill the lettuce leaves with ground beef and add salsa to the beef tacos. Drizzle with lime juice and serve.

One serving contains 420 calories, 7 g carbohydrates, 33 g protein and 36 g fat.
