Low Carb High Fiber Strawberry Yoghurt Recipe
I love fruit yogurt but its sugar content scares me. Here's what I tried today to fill my sweet tooth and have a healthy snack under 100 calories. My purchases yesterday included some nice strawberries and raspberries which made me realize I could make fruit yoghurt to my liking.
On a low-carb diet, it's important to increase the fiber content of the diet, which I did by adding a spoonful of psyllium husk (isabgol). Read here why psyllium husks are a boon for weight watchers.
Recipe for low-carb, high-fiber strawberry yogurt
Here is the recipe…..
ingredients
- Strawberries – Raw, 50 g
- Thick Curd (I love Mother Dairy Dahi) – 200g
- Psyllium Husks – 1 tsp
- Stevia powder – according to your taste. (Stevia is carbohydrate free, natural sweetener)
method
- Mix with quark, stevia and flea seed shells.
- Beat well, chill and enjoy as a healthy low carb snack 🙂
Makes two serves.

- Calories – 87
- Carbohydrates – 11g
- Fat – 3g
- Egg White – 4g
- Calcium – 168 mg
- Fiber – 4g
- Net Carbs – 7g (total carbs minus fiber) 🙂
