McDowell’s No.1 Diet Mate Whiskey Review-Is it worth it?

McDowell's No.1 Diet Mate Whiskey Review

Winters are not winters without a little alcohol, well, am I right or am I right !! I remember it snowing outside as kids in winter. Our parents sometimes gave us a spoonful of brandy to keep us warm at night and when I became a parent and lived in Jammu & Kashmir, brandy came to my rescue to keep my young children warm. Let's be honest and accept that over time, social drinking has become a common occurrence, and there is hardly any social event that goes without alcohol. What I find most interesting is that the people (read women) trying to lose weight find it very confusing at such social events … Alcohol is high in calories and carbohydrates, so an absolute no-go for Weight Watchers.

When I was on a strict low-carb diet and religiously logged on to Mfp, I realized that vodka was the best available option for low-carb dieters because it is carbohydrate-free. If I had a Breezer on any day it was enough for me to stay hungry all day as a Breezer had around 13-25g of carbohydrates in a 275ml bottle … and who can stop at one !!! ! 😛

With the New Year approaching fast and most of us looking forward to a few heartwarming moments with a glass in hand, today I will be helping all alcohol lovers. On this vacation I found McDowell's No. 1 Dieter Whiskey, what my husband said was okay for a dieter (despite all my efforts to explain the difference between low-calorie and low-carb diets … and that I am on a low-carb diet … to him, a dieter is a diet)

Some time ago we reviewed Diet Coke and Coke Zero in this area and after Coke it is now the turn of diet whiskey. Calorie-conscious whiskey lovers can relax a little as UB Group's spirits division has launched McDowell's No.1 Diet Mate – the world's first diet whiskey on the domestic market. And recently I tried this Mc Dowell’s No.1 Diet Mate whiskey and let me be completely honest, I'm not a whiskey person … for me rum with vodka and lemon flavor is just good enough. Whiskey is not my thing as I can't stand this hangover that spoils all of the next day … BUT Mc Dowell's No.1 Diet Mate Whiskey saved me from those awkward moments and wasted a whole day as it didn't give me a hangover although according to my husband the amount I had was not enough to cause a hangover, but personally I know the name whiskey is enough to get me one. 😉

What's so special about it?

McDowell's No.1 Diet Mate Whiskey Review

By introducing a diet whiskey, the company has explored a way to meet a key consumer need for fitness, rather than just excite the whiskey category. Young consumers today are looking for variety and excitement in various brand categories. What worries them most is that drinking leads to extra weight and obesity and in response to this, diet whiskey is a special strain.

Mc Dowell's No.1 Diet Mate Whiskey is mixed with the finest selected Scotch. It contains GARCINIA extract to add some health benefits as well. So when you have diet whiskey you are enjoying all of the benefits of a reserve whiskey with an added health benefit. Garcina, as we all know, is an ancient Indian herb that is currently falling into a rage in many western countries including America, Japan, and Europe. It is believed to have a rare ability to burn excess fat and control cholesterol levels in the human body. Garcinia is recommended as a diet aid along with exercise and a balanced diet.

taste

In terms of taste, there isn't much of a difference between any other whiskey and McDowell’s No.1 Diet Mate whiskey. It certainly has the smoothness of any good whiskey on the market.

Myth destroyed

Diet Mate may have an ingredient called Garcinia that stimulates your metabolism, but that doesn't make it a diet product since it's not a low-calorie whiskey. So if you think that you are going to drink it and lose weight or drink it for weight loss then I am sorry dear ones you are mistaken because you will surely gain weight if you have more than necessary to kill extra calories.

My judgment

My verdict can wait a little longer, but I would like to share these two advertising pictures for this Diet Mate whiskey. Have fun … 😉

And here's another one, look … 🙂

mcdowells-adam-diet mateAren't those ads. pictures cute? I loved her and had a hearty laugh when I looked at her so I thought about sharing it.

Now we come to the product;

As this product claims to be a diet, I expected to find nutritional data on the packaging, but I couldn't find the Diet Mate calorie count anywhere, either on the packaging or on the various websites that promoted this product can i really believe that the company's claim that Mc Dowell's No.1 Diet Mate whiskey is a low calorie product? Well, no, I can't believe I'm going to treat it like any regular whiskey, nothing to do with diet, so I'll probably avoid it in the future.

Is It Safe For Diabetics? Who knows! Nothing is mentioned there. So thumbs down on my part for the lack of transparency about nutritional data. Is there anything else special about this whiskey?

Is it worth paying extra money to buy this so-called "diet whiskey"? Is there anything else special about this whiskey? Hmm, well … no. (That's my personal point of view.) Garcinia or no Garcinia … a whiskey is a whiskey. To the right?

Are you going to try McDowell's No.1 Diet Mate Whiskey at the next party?
