My Weight Loss Journey – Indian Weight Loss Blog

Heya,

Many of you have questioned my rice diet, do you remember? No? Read it here. Little did I know I had thyroid, the last 4 months have been in vain and I haven't lost weight :(. You should always get regular tests, read about it here. So I've just started my full and planned weight loss journey.

My weight loss journey

I'm giving you some updates on the progress made so far over the past month to keep myself motivated and to encourage you to keep going! I have barely eaten wheat in 40 days. As far as I can remember, I've had 4 chapatis so far! I thought I couldn't hold out, but luckily I did. It is extremely difficult for a Northern Indian, especially a vegetarian, to avoid wheat. There is a saying in Hindi – Ek to Karela, upar se neemchadda: P. Hope you got the point 😉

I don't crave carbohydrates anymore, yeeeeeeeeeeee :). Even when I'm stressed, my mind doesn't wander and I don't think about pizza or pasta. In a way, the past month has brought me an emotional detachment from eating. This is a big deal for a foodie like me. Now I can actually watch people eat delicious food (read carbohydrates) without asking them to give me a bite 😉

A few days ago I lost control and ate an Ajwain Parantha. My head started to hurt. The same thing happened again on another day. I can only conclude that excess carbohydrates make my head buzz. Good or bad? I don't know, time will tell!

I feel like my energy level is high. I don't feel tired like before. This could be because my anemia is under control and I'm taking protein supplements.

Have no idea about my weight, my nutritionist robbed my scale and I'm not allowed to use them in the gym either!

I've been eating the same type of food for 40 days. I'm bored, but I still manage to eat. This has given my eating habits much-needed discipline.

My sleep is right, thank god for that!

I don't crave sugar after eating like I did before. No cravings for sugar :)!

Faced with a lot of hair loss given protein consumption :(. This could be due to diet changes. I'm starting another supplement that contains biotin this week. Hopefully this hair loss problem will be resolved soon, Amen!

My skin has improved, although it has been 2 months since my last facial and God knows when I scrubbed or put on a face pack. My weight loss madness has created a back door to my beauty rituals: P. I plan to walk into the living room with my fingers crossed soon!

My appetite has reduced a little, whoa! This is due to the intake of nuts and egg whites every few hours.

I finally gave up! Here are a few of my pictures. I thought I'd share my pictures when there is significant progress in my weight loss journey, but since many of you have wanted to see your weight loss blogger, here I am :)! No bad comments allowed: P!
