New York City Begins Subway Vaccination Program
What it's like to be vaccinated in a subway station
Joseph Goldstein📍Report from New York City
At Jamaica-179th Street Station in Queens, the nurses delivering the vaccines started packing at 1 p.m.
"I took two additional Covid shots," the pharmacist Dolfina Arloro called to a lot of people who came through the turnstiles. "Anyone want a Covid vaccine?"
There were no takers, but 300 people had already been vaccinated at the station that day.
The program will continue until Saturday.
