How to Make the Best Pico De Gallo

Pico de Gallo, also known as Salsa Fresca or Salsa Cruda, is a type of raw salsa that is widely used in Mexican cuisine. It is traditionally made from chopped tomatoes, onions, and jalapeno or serrano peppers with salt, lime juice, and coriander.
I love the fresh and bright flavors of Pico de Gallo and it can be used in so many ways. Try it on grilled fish or steaks, serve it on tacos, go well with eggs or simply with french fries.
I usually whip this up when I need a quick starter. I like it extra chalky, but you can adjust the flavors to your liking! Use jalapeno peppers to keep it mild or use serrano peppers instead for extra hot salsa. I love adding fresh garlic and a little bit of paprika which are optional but great when you want to add more flavor and zing.
