Plan These To Do On Mental Health Day?
Hello everyone!!!
IWB had spoken about mental health on several occasions. Mental health should not only be about "Mental Health Day " once a year, but it requires constant work. During the coronavirus embargo, mental health is something that everyone cares about very seriously.
We are all aware of this feeling at the end of a long week when all you want to do is curl up in bed and sleep for 16 hours. If this feeling does not go away by Monday, it is called burnout. It is a storm of mental fatigue, physical exhaustion and emotional catastrophe stress and overactivity. It's not something to be proud of.
depressionAutoimmune diseases and digestive problems are all linked to stress and burnout. When you know you're caught in the clutches of burnout, it's time to pull the plug. Here is a Mental Health Day specially designed for you. It can work wonders for your whole being.
Let things be easy and take the day off and say no to something stressful.
1) Sleep blissfully
A healthy sleep heals you. It restores and regulates the chemistry of the brain insulin and strengthens immunity. Insufficient sleep can shorten your lifespan. Insufficient sleep can mean you cannot have a mental health day. So draw the curtains in your room, take a bath, sip a cup of hot tea, and get at least 7 to 8 hours of non-stop sleep. Use the day to teach better sleeping habits.
2) Get moving
Do a light exercise to get your blood flowing. Exercise reduces stress hormones and produces the ones that make us feel good. It is recommended that you do 30 minutes aerobic activity a day. On your mental health day, go for a walk when you can't run. If you can't go to the yoga class, just watch a YouTube video and try doing asanas right at your home.
We all spend most of our time on the computer screen instead of going outside. Our lifestyle has taken such a turn that visiting Mother Nature is always in the background. This should be your first priority on your mental health day! Aside from relaxing or relaxing your brain, research shows that time spent in nature can lower your risk of depression, asthma, heart disease, diabetes, and migraines. Sit on the grass and walk among the trees. Nature heals you!
4) Keep a journal
Burnout occurs when we overload ourselves with to-do lists, goals, and tasks. We're so busy getting everything done that we don't have time to think about what's going on in our lives. To see where you are going, just keep a journal. Keeping a written record helps you focus on your journey, not just the destination. They regularly note their feelings and are able to cope with their stress more effectively. Try this on your mental health day.
Take away message
The suggestions above are not difficult or time consuming. Plus, they don't cost you a dime. However, most people say things like "We will do this when we have more time". You will never run out of time when caught in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Come out for a while. Make yourself the # 1 priority of your life. Listen to what your body is saying and go back to your mind. Take a day off if you need one.
Hope you know what to do for your sanity every day, not just am Mental Health Day!
