Everyone wants their thighs to be toned and thinner when they wear skirts or short dresses. Have you ever wondered how the celebrities have amazing and stunning thighs? Well, it won't be wrong for me to tell you that you can have that by doing simple thigh and buttock exercises at home too.
Here are the top 5 thigh and butt exercises that will help you tone your thighs, buttocks, and calves by just spending 5 minutes a day.
1. Lunge steps
Lunge steps are a coach's favorite exercise when it comes to thighs and buttocks. Lunge steps work multiple muscles at once, which is why they're so effective. On the foreleg, aim the buttocks along with the hamstrings while the hind leg sets the quads and calves on fire. Stand with your right foot forward and left foot back about 3 feet apart. And bend your knees to lower your body towards the floor. Come on and repeat.
2. Squats
Squats are one of the best exercises for the butt. It fires every tiny muscle fiber that flows through your glutes and, as a bonus, hits the hips, thighs, and calves as well. Squats should be a staple of any basic leg routine. Stand with your feet hip-width apart, bend your knees, and then lower yourself into a squat with your knees pointing outward behind your toes. Hold and leave and repeat.
3. Step-Ups
Step up is another great exercise, and probably the easiest, and anyone can do it. You definitely can't make an excuse for it. As shown, you do not need a step ledge for this. You can also climb stairs. And once you get used to it, climb up two steps to make it more effective.
4. Superman
No, I'm not talking about the movie Superman, I'm talking about the exercise: P. You need to lie on your stomach on the floor, spread your hands straight forward on the floor, and raise your hands and feet, hold for 5 seconds and let go. This is a very good exercise for the buttocks and thighs.
5. Standing calf raises
Trust me, this is the best exercise to use to train calves. While I was going to the gym, my trainer probably made me do this 20 times and two sets. You may think this looks pretty easy and it is easy, but it tones the calves like nothing else. Try it. Stand straight and slowly lift your heels and hold for a second and come down and repeat.
