Sheer, Milky Polish Is Made For Mani Beginners: An Easy Tutorial

Few activities are more humble than painting your own nails. Every time I get the gum up to fully tinker, the result looks smeared and uneven, and the polish runs into my cuticles. While my painting has improved marginally over the past year (happy to report that I've evolved past toddlers and am proud of the first grade benchmark), I've stuck to one for most of 2020 held bare nail – it turns out my nails needed the breather anyway.

But I'm not going to lie: I am missing a freshly polished digit and am still determined to go beyond elementary level my mani skills at home. What can an avid novice nailer do?

Two words: pure polish. Fresh, milky nails are not only deliciously trendy for summer, but the color is oh so flattering (it makes your fingers appear longer), and application is practically child's play – unlike opaque, brightly colored varnishes, any flawed lines fly under the radar.

If you've been getting your nails back to health in the past year after wearing gels or acrylic paints all the time, the sheer shade is a great way to show off your strong, blooming nails while filling in noticeable ridges or divots – think bare nails, but better .
