Weekly Horoscope For November 1–8, 2020, From The AstroTwins

Rotate your focus from the past to the future. It is time to stop (or at least weaken) this Tuesday, November 3rd as Mercury awakens from its confusing three-week regression through Scorpio and Libra.

Emotions stirred up since October 13th and "Should I have said that out loud?" Obsession was the norm. Coupled with election anxiety (which we believe should now be classified as an official mental state), it has been quite traumatic in those areas. No, not everything will be business as usual overnight … or possibly ever. But Mercury's advance through Libra (through November 10th) and then through Scorpio (through December 1st) gives us a chance to review all the events that have happened since the beginning of October. Accepting what lies ahead doesn't mean agreeing to it – not at all! But Mercury's U-turn allows us to see the facts and devise a new strategy based on what actually happens. At the time of writing, we don't know who will take on the role of President of the United States from 2021 to 2024. Regardless, the road to recovery is long and winding, which everyone around the world is grappling with this year.

With the messenger planet flowing backwards primarily through the esoteric waters of Scorpio since October 13th, emotions may have overtaken everyone's better senses. If you've cried "inexplicably" – or for a damn good reason – you have to admit that the tears were therapeutic. But enough of the three-handkerchief drama! With Mercury back on track, the chronic misunderstandings that interrupted the season can give way to healing reconciliations. Contracts that have been kept in bureaucracy could finally move into the negotiation (and signing!) Phase – though you may want to comb things through by November 19, when the shadow of the "retroshade" is over. Instead of figuring out what lies beneath, don't lose the important message that Mercury Reverse revealed about the pitfalls of flying over the surface. Even if you've learned this in a loving way, you can move into spring with a new determination to slow down, answer every question, and read the fine print.
