"An energy signal you send to your cells is 100 times more powerful than any drug or supplement you can take." – Bruce Lipton.
What is Qi Gong?
Qi Gong is essentially breathing, movement and meditation.
It is also a combination of "intention" and "movement".
The different movements work from the physical to the spiritual level.
Why Qi Gong?
Essentially because it works, it's easy, and once you've learned the techniques, it's free! You can do it outside in the park, on the beach, and anywhere, and it is my goal to help make this happen.
Qi Gong promotes well-being, connects body, mind and soul on the way to optimal health, harmonious coordination and encourages you to return to your most natural state of being. The movements provide balance, deep relaxation, and can be used to remove stress among a variety of other benefits. When Qi Gong techniques are practiced regularly, they help to activate your energy system and bring your physical body into a more vital state of being.
In Dao Yin Fa Qi Gong, the method I learned from Master Fabien Fabien, the techniques strengthen the qi of the organs by stretching the twelve acupuncture meridians. The synthesis of color, movement and sound awakens and redirects Chi in the body. The movements besides working with the physical organs in the body also detoxify the emotions that can be trapped in the organs.
You can learn with practice how one deal with emotions by eliminating toxic emotions and cleansing your limbic system. When you are aware of the emotions associated with the organs, you can consciously generate new energy and clear stagnant emotions. This practice will help you feel more stable, balanced, and healthier.
Keeping our cortisol and hormone levels in balance is vital to good health, especially given the stresses we are exposed to today.
The hypothalamic gland, which is at the base of the brain, regulates our stress levels and our rejuvenating hormones such as oxytocin. It's like your inner compass that is vital to brain health, controlling your appetite, and like being the CEO of your entire endocrine system. The hypothalamus is a big part of health immune system Just like your liver, which is also an important part of the immune system and when it is out of whack creating trouble in the system, we feel more determined, forgiving and generous when in balance. The jaw is also connected to the LIVER. If you grind your teeth or have a tight jaw at night, it is a sign that your liver needs support and assistance.
The main organ of Respiratory system Is the lungs, the lungs are associated with the emotions of grief and sadness, and by working with a series of movements and sounds we can rid the lungs of them and welcome the antidote to it, which is courage. Something that is welcomed when we go through difficult times in our lives.
The Endocrine system Works with the adrenal glands (on top of the kidneys), thymus, and pancreas.
The Urinary system is associated with the water element and includes the kidneys and bladder. The emotions associated with these organs are fear and shock. By working with the antidote emotions, we help align these organs with gratitude and silence.
There are many different types of Qi Gong, for me the Dao Yin Fa system by Master Fabien Maman and the Universal Healing Tao system by Master Mantak Chia, which I have found to be the most beneficial.
Benefits of Qi Gong
Qi Gong has three main advantages: It harmonizes, strengthens and has a healing effect on the organs and emotions in the human body system. It increases the flow of energy and oxygen in the body, has rejuvenating effects, increases longevity, and soothes the mind and emotions.
