Why Sitting Can Cause Body Aches + A Supplement To Help

You've heard it before: sitting is the enemy. Sitting and staring at screens for long periods of time can arch our backs and hunch our shoulders forward, putting more pressure on the spine. Our muscles stiffen and contract, making us more prone to injury and inflammation.

Pain in the legs, lower back, and shoulders occurs after a particularly sedentary day, especially if you have poor posture. Of course, if you have a desk job, you can only spend so much time on the go during the work day. Standing desks can help alleviate discomfort, but often lead to sore muscles that are constantly activated.

My body hurts when I write this. And if you've been sitting at a makeshift desk at home for much of the past year, you probably find it painful to read.
