How to Stop Procrastinating On Your Fitness Goals
How to stop procrastinating on your fitness goals
Are you one of those dieters who, at the slightest thought about a break from training or when you want to treat yourself to your favorite meal, say "Just this one more time -" or "will surely start again from tomorrow …" to yourself? Then you are a victim of procrastination.
How to stop procrastinating on your fitness goals
Don't beat the stress yourself
Can you ever forget the moment when you were serious about improving your health, fitness, energy, and life in general? I am sure you cannot. Then what happened halfway? If you made this decision to get fit, then you need to live up to it. You have to finish what you started. It was your call and you can't let yourself go like this.
Yes, there will be times when you will get tired of eating the same diet food over and over, you will get bored of the same exercise routine, and you may even eventually help yourself to an extra serving of your favorite dessert and curse yourself for it later. This is the moment when you need to understand that there is nothing wrong with this and it is completely normal. If you've already done what you think you shouldn't be doing, then there's no point beating yourself up over it. Know that it is okay to give in to your cravings every now and then, because after all, you can only live this life once.
Don't put the pressure on yourself with the idea of losing weight and run after setting a goal to burn a fixed number of calories so badly that you forget about the happiness in your life. Remember, it's okay to allow minor swings in your routine every now and then. Knowing that you are flexible in your fitness routine will keep your mind calm which will actually increase your willpower and increase your determination which will lead you to a new level of success on your fitness journey.
Finish what you started
Now that you've read these Stressbusters and rejoiced that there is at least someone in this world who understands you and has been able to comfort you after eating a big red velvet cake all by yourself, it's okay, but keep that in mind – Don't make this a habit! You will always find reasons not to exercise and just eat more. Sometimes you even surprise yourself with the kind of excuses that are going to come up. But no! Crash those stupid ideas, stop wasting your time looking for more reasons to get that bacon, stop promising yourself that you won't do it again when you know that is exactly the promise that you used to break too many times.

Decide once and for all that it is high time to turn back and get going. So, get up, go into your training mode and just start your training sessions. What may seem so difficult today will become a warm-up tomorrow. Yes i mean it. There is no need to lose the hope and motivation that you started with in the first place. Remember, when you decided to get rid of that extra burden on your poor two little feet, you were a winner. Once you start your journey nothing should stop you, not even your own hesitation.
You have the strength
How you keep yourself going is entirely up to you, because only you know what you want to change in your life and only you have the power to change your life. Your focus should be on you throughout your fitness journey. Do it for yourself because you want it to be, not for others. Remember that after a few years you will be able to appreciate the beauty of your own mind and the strength your body can withstand only for your own enjoyment and bliss of fitness and health.
